  Late night eats, made to order sausages and consistently good potato salad. I've been eating at the lower height hole in the wall for almost 20 years. It's never let me down. I live the duck sausage, grilled onions with sweet peppers. I've had it all, I really like the German potato salad. It's not a really fast pick up here. They throw the sausage on the grill when you order. Takes about 10 minutes to cook and fix up. Best bar food ever? Maybe may not, it's a great option for fast, delicious and greasy drunk food.

  Hot dog! This little dive might not look like much from the outside but take a step in and you will understand why it has so many reviews and most singing its praises.A menu of about 12 different sausages awaits your decision of which one to pick.I couldn't make a decision, so I asked the cashier what was his favorite.So I ended up with the Meringue: good decision! And topped it was hot peppers and onion. My, oh my! was it good! This place is cash only -so be sure to have it handy for a smooth transaction. This restaurant is small - with about 6 stools to sit on and that just about it.Head over next door to Tornado to eat your hot spicy dog and grab a beer or two as you chow down.

  Fun place to grab a bratwurst and a beer with a group. Get the pretzel! They have plenty of thick blankets for when it's cold outside. It's in a great location in Hayes Valley near tons of bars/restaurants/Smitten ice cream. It'd be even more fun if they had lawn games!
