  I really enjoyed the first half of my trip to 1300. Apps and drinks at the bar were brilliant. That hurricane was everything.
  
  We enjoyed dinner as well. We tried a little a bit of everything as we had such a large group.
  
  The restaurant and ambience are amazing. It's perfect for a special night out.

  So again I want to make sure that the reader of this review understands my high level of severe disappointment!! I had a sirloin steak with mushrooms onions figs and a sauce called liquid gold. I couldn't have been happier with my choice it was sooo beyond good.

  I attended a private gathering at this restaurant last evening and it was a delightful experience. The staff was competent and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Oh, and the food? Well, it was fresh, perfectly seasoned and nicely presented. The fried chicken skewers were heaven on a stick. Well done and thank you for the lovely evening!

  I called 1300 on Filmore to make dinner reservations for a party of ten. Unfortunately, my phone conversation with Lisa was rather unpleasant. There were a few questions I had about the seating, music, cake/corkage fees and etc. Lisa was extremely rude and impatient. I felt like the conversation was rushed and negative energy exuded from the call. I suggested to call back at a convenient time but was put hold so that she could help another customer and then Chris finished the call for her. I don't have a problem with being place on hold. My issue is her lack of customer service skills and failing to explain what they can accommodate.
  
  It's unfortunate because this would have been my first time dinning here and I was looking forward to the food/music. Due to the negative phone encounter, I will look for another location.
  
  Note: this is my first time rating a business.
